Social Marketing as a “Social Light” Brightens Us All!

Tina | January 31, 2009

“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
Budda

Have you ever seen a really great post that you had to share?

How much time does it take to tweet about a cool new follower on Twitter?

Did you see an inspirational video on YouTube that you just had to share on FaceBook?

Social Marketing gives us all the opportunity to share the light inside of us and others around us to brighten al of our lives.  Being an Internet “Social Light” is a wonderful and rewarding way to build that know-like-trust factor in the communities you are in.

Sharing a little bit of light on the Internet can go a long way for both you and the people you are sharing with.  Katja Presnal, one of my Friday Friends over at the New Old Moms Club is a shining example of a “Social Light” in action.

The more light you spread the more your KLT Factor develops.

As you light up others, you will see that instead of seeing your light dim, the circle of light around you just keeps getting brighter!

Take a minute out of your day today to light up another person’s day and watch the circle around you shine!
